After completing a deposit, you can see your transaction status by entering TXID in its block explorer. When your transaction has enough required confirmations, your deposit will be added to your account balance.

What is “TXID” and how to find it?

Once you've sent a cryptocurrency payment to your deposit address in Colodax, transfer's details (such as the amount of coins sent, sending/receiving address, as well as the time of transfer) can be found on the blockchain. This information is then publicly available and generates its own transaction ID - or TXID.
You can find your Transaction ID in Deposit History and check its real-time status or go to its Blockchain explorer (such as www.blockchain.com) and enter your Colodax deposit address for more transaction details.

Why can’t I see my TXID?

Due to network crowdedness, your transaction might be delayed and it will take longer to generate a transaction ID for your transfer. Please be patient.
If you fail to see any TXID in a long time, please contact the platform from which you have withdrawn the coins and make sure they have sent your assets.

What is “Confirmation”?

Take Bitcoin Cash for instance: After a transaction is broadcasted to a Blockchain, it is presented to be included in a block by the miners. Once a transaction is included in a block, the transaction will have 1 confirmation. The number of transaction confirmations represents the total block number that has included this very transaction. Usually, more confirmations mean less likelihood of a payment being reversed.
